Penang Trip Part 2

Hello and lemme continue with the trip..

This was the view in the morning near the Weld Quay. It was mind-blowing and of course i can only share the picture, but experiencing it was more like an escape for my mind. A little cottage far away from the hustle and bustle of city life..

Alright, and then..life goes on and we went to Penang Hill or Bukit Bendera. As usual we went to Bukit Bendera only by Rapid Penang, so we don't need to think about the traffic jam, or anything else, and also can minimize the cost of travelling, kan? And thats why i salute with the public transport in Penang, so effective and efficient! and cheap!

With the fare of RM2, we can get to Bukit Bendere, well...it was weekend and there's a crowd to que for the ticket to get to the Bukit Bendera. The price for an adult to get in is RM10 for Malaysian and RM30 for foreigner, but with the student discount, we get half of the price.

Up there, again, the view is like wow. I was wow-ing the whole day because of the scenery. You can see the whole Pulau Pinang from up, its like the highest place in Penang, just amazing.

 Us up there

 Current fav since first year!

The other fav in the class

My failed attempt to take a selfie when u know your friends are busy taking picture. Y_Y

In the top of Bukit Bendera, they have few of interesting places like, The Love Lock, whereby we saw so many couples making promises abt their loves and all.
Me and Puspa almost puke but we managed it well.

Nice to see nice to hold but once its broken its considered sold... whaaaa?

Next, we went to Kek Lok Si Temple and it was just a short visit as it was raining and it was a very huge temple. The most biggest temple I have ever been.

 Kek Lok Si Temple

Can you see how huge it is? and from the place we were walking, we had to walk and climb the stairs around 40 mins just to get up there, but we couldn't make it to the very top where the statue located.

And then, we go back to the jetty with hope to get the ticket to return back to KL, as we reached Butterworth around 5PM, the only available (for 5 seats) bus is at 6PM and next at 12.30AM, so we decided to take the last bus asnwe still need to take a tour nearby Butterworth. Well, those Jeruk Madu Pak Ali and all :P

Annnd... we reached KL around 4.45AM today Monday morning
(luckily we dint have any classes today) so we can have a rest cuz, a 6 hours of journey is a pain in the ass! It was a very well-spent weekend i had and the amount of craziness i had with these bunch of girls, will never get enough!

Till the next travel entry you guys! x

Penang Trip Part 1

Hello folks!

This entry may be abit longer than other entry as I am gonna share with you on how I spent my last weekend. Well I thought maybe some people are curious abt my life so here mommah feed you :P

Well, on the first week of my third year, my friends and I (five of us and all girls) had this
oh-my-god-i-miss-you-guys-lets-go-somewhere moment as we haven't met each other for uhm, a month plus? due to the semester break so yeah..then suddenly we came up with this thoughts of going to Singapore, Penang, Perak, Thailand, Johor and etc..then we decided to go to Penang for one-day trip, initially.

We only put our asses on the planning thing 2 days before departing, so then we got the ticket from TBS-Butterworth at 11.15pm with the price of RM34.20 per ticket, without buying the ticket to return back to KL, cuz they don't sell the ticket from Butterworth-TBS in TBS.

Then after 6 hours of long pain ass journey, we have reached jetty around 5.30 in the morning and we were like so lalok as none of us know Penang much so we just go with the flow, but of course we did some research before going ^_^.

We hopped into ferry from Butterworth to Georgetown, with the ferry fare only costs us RM1.20, for going and returning, considering the fare is cheap! As we reached Georgetown, we checked in the guesthouse nearby the terminal. The guesthouse that we stayed costs us RM70 so its very cheap for 5 people, with two beds and air-cond included.

So we started our journey with Penang Street Arts, Batu Feringgi Beach, Gurney Drive, Hawker Night Market, Penang Hill @ Bukit Bendera, Kek Lok Si Temple and we went to Sunway Carnival Mall even though we promised no malls included, but yeah, we girls are so unpredictable.

 My friends and I

Normal street with me as an art over there, hahah

 Street Arts still..

 Another wall of Street Arts

Mi modelitaaaa

Basically looking for the Street Arts is fun but sometimes its abit hard to locate them, as they are placed in different places. We rented a bicycle just to find those nice walls!

Then next we went to the Batu Feringgi Beach by Rapid Penang from the jetty with only RM2.70 for 18km, isn't it amazing? The Rapid Penang literally goes to every corners of Penang!

 And time for the beach!

It was hot but we are hotter hahahah!

Just my friends, from left Maimunah and Abdullah (sinetron mode on)

We did the parasailing for RM120 for two person. It was cheap as the initial price was RM200 for two and RM100 for single ride. Negotiate buddy, negotiate.

I HATE IT WHEN I TAKE A PICTURE OF MY FRIEND AND SHE LOOK GOOD AF AND WHEN MY TURN BE LIKE...........
....
..
.
Kidding, peeps. This is the best i can share, idk what's wrong with my leg it got froze when i was flying, i guess. :/ Anyway, achievement is finally unlocked!

Now some pictures of us acting for our sinetron.
 Abdullah @ Shumica

Juleha

 Jubaedah

 Jamilah

and the best pose award goes to this, Maimunah. I was laughing for the next an hour bcz of this picture. Damn gurrrrrlllll you nailed it! hahah

Now food's pictures. I swear in the name of [insert whatever word you wish to], the foods in Penang is sooo amazing! If you go to Penang, you'll have to go to Hawker Night Market where there is like a food court station for you. A huge food court station.

A must try food is, Pasembur, well, though i dont like when people put sugar in their cooking, but this one is just too good! Also, the Laksa Penang, sorry Johor, but Penang nailed it better! *mouthwatering*

Ais Kacang Special  for RM5 (can get it near the beach)

Laksa Penang for RM4 *bow down*

The Amazing Pasembur, the price is depending on what you take, for mine, it was RM10 but it was worth it~ *worth it song plays*

And one more is, Char Quay Tiaw Penang, gosh... i dont have the picture but you guys should really try it out, best Char Quay Tiaw ever! You can't get it in KL!

And day 1 in Penang ended positively tired. We went back to our guesthouse and yes, we all fainted within an hour after we reached home.
Day two on the next entry, see ya! x

Melaka, The Historical Place

I'm Malaysian and hey, I didn't know that Melaka would be so freaking awesome, cuz apparently i hate history so don't ask me abt history of Malaysia.

Ok kidding. C'mon am Malaysian!

Ok don't ask I'm not kidding I suck at history.

So right after finished my NDP, i went to Melaka for 2 days in a way for me to mentally prepare before i get into third year. With my one and only travel partner and best friend...okay you don't need to know who she is.

All of these places we went, we walked from place to place bcz its pretty nearby to get to so many places only by walking...and it got me all wet! But it was fun actually, well, eventhough i hate history, its pretty badass not to know the history of your own country.

Yes yes yes i get it i've read all the descriptions shown on each historical places, with the help of my travel partner. Gosh i just hate reading!

So we went to Banda Hilir area and stayed in the Homestay budget near Jonker Streets with the budget of RM60 per night on weekdays (as i walked by, i saw a room for RM30 and i cursed pretty bad).

Here is some of the pictures i may wanna share.. :)

A replica of the Melaka Sultanate palace was reconstructed at the foot of St. Paul's Hill and it was amazing!

Look how cool is this place, its like you're in their world! Its just so real!

On top of St. Paul's Hill is the St. Paul's Church, once the prayer house of the Portuguese Catholics, then turned into burial ground for their noble dead by the Dutch. The tombstones have Latin and Portuguese inscriptions on them. St. Francis Xavier was buried here in 1553 before his body was moved to Goa in India.
(something that i just googled) he he he

The Stadthuys.

Just some street art we found near Jonker Street.

And also we went to St. Francis Xavier's Church but no proper picture taken so yeah :p
Annnnd...last we went to Pantai Puteri and took our jump pose by ourselves okay, damn the efforts! We need no one bruhh, #equality #lovewins what on earth i said? Never mind me. Take care!

Third Year in Ba (Hons) International Business Management

I don't know if i should be happy to be in final year already or should i be scared of whatever may happen after i graduate.

Will I get a proper job that actually using my major?

Will I survive later on?

or maybe i will be like those who working but their life is that, working their asses off.
To pay bills, renting house and car every month.

WHAT.

ON.

EARTH.

Another year to go with Asia Pacific University and another year to go to be fed by YPPB. Lets make full use of this!

Whatever it is, lets fight to the fullest for final year and may the luck always be with me throughout the year, Ameen. *finger crossed*

Nurture Development Programme 8 (YPPB)

 We are all #Penerajuans

This is the program that i have to attend from what i said on previous entry.
NDP is basically a program that my sponsor (YPPB) has designed for all scholar to sharpen our soft skills and preparing us to face the working environment better, in the future. We had presentation skills module, meeting skills module and etc..

And oh btw the programe is held at the heaven of all university of Sunway University, trust me their new building is so awe-freaking-some!

You may say, neh so boring like everyone can get a job easily after theyre graduated, plus we're under scholarship so people look up on us and bla bla bla..

Wait, you may stop there. Why?

Bcz in working environment, they don't look at your CGPA and all, they differentiate us by the level of confidence and how actually you 'sell' yourself while talking. Okay am not lecturing you all but truth hurts kan? So do with the reality.

It is actually scared me as it seemed so hard to survive after graduate. However, i also gained some knowledge that maybe other scholar from different scholarship may not get it, so I'm grateful.. and Thanks YPPB.

I have attended a two-weeks programs that consisted of indoor activities such as presentation and debate and etc. Also, we had an outdoor activity which during weekend, we went to Mujahadah Agro Camp (MAC) in Semenyih. Over there, we had a night walk, a Islamic-based activities such as A-Quran Drilling which is beneficial for all of us. You can see the picture from HERE for more excitement we had!

It is actually feels good to get back together with these lovelies, as we are from different university.

Just me with my awkward pose _/\_

Right before we off to MAC for two days.

My gang in the class <3

And gosh, the Sunway university new building is like HEAVENNNNN! It could'nt be more perfect and i took selfies every single corner!

Every single corner, remember? I dont want to show more or you all will puke of our not so called photoshoot but this one is definitely get InstaGERAMZZZ-ed!

2015 Eid-Ul-Fitr

This may be like the old basi entry but i thought i'd still share with you all how was my Eid went through.

So im like the most luckiest bird that get my semester break same as the rest of my friend that studying in IPTA, cuz yknow IPTS has thousands intake in a year, especially my university.

So basically this year Eid was abit more special than previously as most of my siblings were there on the night before Eid and that happiness is mirrored from my mom's face. When she's happy, i'll be happy too.

So here's some of pictures that mayyybe you would love to see :p

Okay these are my love-hate siblings, they're annoying as heck but i love every bits of them.

On the first Eid, our usual routine is to visit Arwah Abah and spend a day two at granny's. So good to spend time with my granny eventho they cant really hear me when i talk (they're 89-90y/o) and no picture taken. Whenever i said, 'Tok, sini amek gambo!'
Tok replied, 'Ape?!Tok tak lapo!'
-.-''

On the third Eid, we came back and held an open house for family and friends to come and enjoy food, but few of my friends came as they're still busy celebrating Eid with families and relatives, so its fine guys.

Here some pictures of them.....and I. :p

And more of Eid pictures..

And then....bad news is i gotta go back to KL a week after Eid as I have to attend my scholarship programme. #sissedih . Nevertheless, i'd still had the best time with my family and friends eventho i could'nt make it for like tons of open house invitations T_T.
